A circa 1965 Jaguar Mk2 3.4 litre engine. This is being sold by the family of a Deceased Estate. The family have already been extremely generous to our Club and our charity Camp Quality.
The engine includes a complete/assembled short block including crank, con rods, pistons, sump, timing chains and cover. There is no flywheel. The engine's condition unknown, but it turns over with minimal lipping of bores. The cylinder head is likely to be matching. There are no camshafts, buckets or valves. The head appears not to be corroded. There are a quantity of cam bearing caps, enough to complete the engine. There are no ancillaries. The engine is definitely from a Mk2, with the KJ prefix.

Having checked the Saloon Data website http://www.saloondata.com it would appear reasonably likely this engine lies between RHD 3.4 Saloon chassis numbers 1683820DN with engine No. KJ6575-8 first registered in 1965 and 168456DN with engine No. KJ6696-8 also first registered in 1965.
